Title: Solidarity in Dark Times
It took me more than a year to finish this work since it kept not speaking to me for months. I was planning to throw this away, but on February 6th 2023 at 04:17, there had been the worst earthquake happened in Turkey and Syria, millions were affected, more than 10 cities were destroyed, caused hundreds of thousands deaths. I was following and busy with aid activities and I had to see a lot of pain. It broke my heart so badly. I kept crying for weeks. I was so overwhelmed with empathy and I forced myself to put it on a surface with my art. Therefore if this work gets sold soon, the revenue will be donated to the non-profit that is working for women affected from the disaster. In disaster zones it is the hardest for women and girls, for self care for womens' health and for their safety. They will keep needing aid for a while longer and I want to help.
